The subsystems, their components, and the status of each (designed, bought, tested, integrated...) was getting a little overwhelming, so I layed it out in an excel document and loaded it to the dropbox. The picture is a subsection of it.
This process was really useful for me to think of the scope of the design, buying, testing, and integration left in the project. The useful message: there are lots of little design decisions with parts to buy, test, and integrate which are easy to forget, and keeping them organized will help us not slip behind schedule.
Next up, nailing down the driving algorithm to design the location and number for the microswitches for normal operation and for when passing the chute.
