Ironing out some things

Today we bought the locomotion motors and attached some wheels to them. We have a cardboard mock-up cart that rolls around that we will test our navigation code on as we develop the other systems more. We also met up with our coach Cole who discussed our robot with us. He suggested that we test out the collection on the game board, mimicking our navigation motion to see if there are any hiccups with balls getting in the way. He also gave us his old ME210 robot which has a nice stepper motor with 38ohms of resistance! Our savior, we now have a motor that will work with the lab provided driver, and so now our sorter system is looking like could be in its final stages, we just have to attach to the new shaft of the new motor. Hopefully the omnidirectional wheels will come in soon so we can test out our ultimate design of turning corners. It will be exciting times to come!
